Own a GT3, GT3RS, 996/997TT? Have you had your cooling fitting issues addressed? These motors are noted for having glued in fittings separate from the cast manifolds. Our proven solution is to pin the fittings in place. While we have the motor out we also replace the fragile plastic fittings with fabricated steel pieces to prevent failure. This particular motor is from a 2008 997 Turbo. All of the cooling issues are now solved and it will provide reliable service for the foreseeable future.
