PMO INDUCTION continues the legendary Porsche® specialist brand PMO from its founder Richard Parr. To reflect PMO’s planned product line expansions to include electronic and mechanical fuel injection systems and components; EMPI has renamed the brand PMO Induction to more accurately convey its expertise. PMO’s has been relocated to EMPI headquarters in Anaheim, CA. This move ensures PMO Induction products will continue to be produced and assembled using aerospace grade materials and manufacturing practices pioneered in Southern California.

PMO INDUCTION utilizes aerospace quality castings, machining tolerances, and IDF jetting and float technology. This change was predicated on the IDF series, Weber’s most modern carb design, and intended to cope with high performance tires and suspensions that cause fuel slosh and starvation issues with older carb designs, like the original IDA configuration. Replacement and tuning component
parts availability and costs are significantly better in general for IDF components over the IDA series parts.
